Design Folks is based in Johannesburg, South Africa and works with clients across the globe. All projects are managed remotely - briefs submitted online, feedback shared digitally, files delivered electronically. Location is not a barrier to working together.
Yes. The discovery call is free and carries no obligation. It is for both sides to assess fit, clarify what is needed, and determine whether moving forward makes sense.
At minimum: a clear brief explaining what you need, timely feedback during the project, and access to any platforms, content or assets needed. The clearer the brief and the faster the feedback, the faster the project moves.
You will receive one strategically considered concept direction.
If the initial direction is not right, one revised concept direction is included. Once the direction is approved, you will have up to two rounds of refinements to fine-tune the selected concept. Refinements do not include developing a new or alternative concept direction.
If new deliverables or changes fall outside the approved quote, a change quote is issued first. Work on additional scope only begins once that quote is approved.
If a project is cancelled after the deposit is paid and work has begun, the deposit is non-refundable. Work completed up to the cancellation point may be handed over at the studio's discretion. See the full Terms and Conditions for the complete policy.
Once full payment is received, ownership of all approved final deliverables transfers to the client. You are free to use the files across all applications.
